Focusing on filmmaking, stop motion animation, photography, and artistry, Zoe McCarty explores the beauty of creation and art. She is from Seattle, Washington, and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Film and Digital Media with Honors at The University of Santa Cruz. She currently focuses on Editing for Film and Media content. She is also a coach for Santa Cruz Roller Derby and Southside Revolution Junior Roller Derby. Zoe has played derby for 13+ years and is currently on both the Santa Cruz Roller Derby and the Supernovas Travel Teams.
Zoe found her love of filmmaking through the movies her parents showed her as a child and continues to fall in love with film every day. Her movies focus on the darker side of life, with hints of childish wit and whimsy. She aspires to create feature-length films and is currently completing a feature-length screenplay as well as a stop motion short
